Fluid trap magnets remove ferrous contamination from flowing liquids. Magnetech offers Rare Earth (RE) and Ferrite models, but recommends RE units in most applications, especially food applications.
These RE magnets generate a powerful magnetic field that captures all magnetic particles in the normal product stream.
The fluid traps are typically installed in-line with a current pipeline system. It is critical that these units are placed where they can easily be opened and cleaned prior to valuable or sensitive equipment.
