Cone magnet, or bullet magnet separators are ideal for removing tramp iron from dry, free flowing granular and powder products in pneumatic or gravitational pipelines or chutes.
The product enters the housing and is evenly distributed by a stainless-steel cone where it passes over the magnet. Ferrous contamination is held by the magnet while the product flows past. The housing is wider around the magnetic cartridge so as not to restrict flow rates. Cleaning is achieved by opening the cone housing and wiping the magnetic body.
